Thoughts : 

        Tay Zonday was the creator of this crazy song Chocolate Rain. Which went viral back in 2007. Tay Zonday says that his song deals with race issues in America. He hits points like prison racisms amongst African Americans, economic racism, and racial problems. Initially, when I first heard this song I would have never guessed that this song focused on racism.

    I haven't heard this song before but I think that it is a catchy song, however I did not realize that it was about racism, that makes it more interesting.

    I thought the song was interesting. It took me a minute to understand that he was talking about racism. Once I listened to the song, and actually heard the words I started to understand the metaphors and how they related back to racism.

    I knew of the song but I had no idea it was about racism, I think because people made such a joke out of it that the true meaning behind it was lost.

Everything Science Knows About Reading on Screens   This article talks about the shift from paper to screens. As stated in the article, "It's left many wondering what we've lost or gained in the shift and a handful of scientists are trying to figure out the answer". This question is left unknown because of the different types of media and the person's preference. Studies show that many people who read online scan through the passage rather than actually reading the material. Studies show that many people who read off paper focus better rather than reading on a device. When reading on a device you are able to multi-task but when you are reading off of a paper its harder to multi-task which makes it easier to focus. Scanning through passages is called nonlinear reading.
